FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: new photosensitizer for photodynamic therapy of tumours is represented by a non-covalent complex comprising a carbocyanine dye 2,6-bis(3,7-di-N-methyl-benz[1,2-d:4,3-d']bistiazole-)-[N-methyl-3,3'-dimethyl-indocarbocyanine] perchlorate and a device for drug delivery to the tumour, which is a stepwise dialyzed chimeric recombinant protein, ArE1, characterized by the amino acid sequence of the receptor-binding domain of human alpha-fetoprotein, with a fragment attached to the C end, consisting of a sequence inclduing 22 residues of the glutamic acid and an affinity tag 6His-tag.
EFFECT: high yield of the active triplet state upon photoexcitation, solubility in aqueous media and stability in the presence of human serum albumin.
