FIELD: medical research.
SUBSTANCE: complex for the detection and targeted destruction of cells is disclosed, containing an active component consisting of combined photosensitizer molecules, at least one plasmon nanoparticle and at least one biological recognition molecule, characterized in that the active component additionally includes at least one combined organic fluorescent dye molecule, and the complex includes an auxiliary detecting component, consisting of at least one quantum dot combined with at least one single-domain antibody, and the fluorescence spectrum of quantum dots is in the optical absorption range of photosensitizer molecules and organic fluorescent dye molecules, while biological recognition molecules and single-domain antibodies have the trait to specifically bind different epitopes of a given tumor marker expressed by cells, and the active and auxiliary detecting components are separate components that, after being introduced into the body are spatially separated before binding to different epitopes of a given tumor marker.
EFFECT: invention provides decrease in the background toxicity of photosensitizers for healthy cells, as well as increase in the specificity of detection of cancer cells.
