FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical research and aims at reducing toxicity of photosensitizers. Disclosed is a photodynamic therapy kit comprising an active component consisting of one or more microcapsules containing one or more damper molecules, as well as one or more photosensitizer molecules, on external surface of microcapsules and photosensitizer molecules single-domain antibodies are immobilized, wherein the microcapsule shell is made of a hybrid light-sensitive material which is capable of being destroyed by optical radiation, wherein the radiation spectrum which activates the photosensitiser coincides with a radiation spectrum which causes destruction of the microcapsule membrane. Kit also includes an auxiliary component consisting of one or more quantum dots combined with one or more biological recognition molecules, wherein the fluorescence spectrum of the quantum dots is in the optical range causing the photosensitizer molecules activation and the microcapsule membrane destruction, wherein biological recognition molecules and single-domain antibodies are able to specifically bind different epitopes of oncomarkers expressed on the surface of tumour cells, the destruction of which is necessary.
EFFECT: invention provides reduced shadow toxicity of photosensitizers and specific delivery to tumour cells, which enables to achieve high effectiveness and safety of therapy.
