FIELD: automotive engineering.
SUBSTANCE: tire assembly system for vehicle wheels comprises a line for assembling carcass structures on the assembly drum including a plurality of assembly stations and devices for transferring the assembly drum from one assembly station to another. The line for assembling the crown structures on the forming drum includes a plurality of working stations and devices for transferring the forming drum from one workstation to the other. One of the assembly stations is a station for integrating annular anchor structures into carcass hose and comprises storage zone for annular anchor structures having a first free side for loading the annular anchor structures into the storage area and a second side opposite the first side. The line includes a tire bead forming machine located near the second side of the storage area. The storage area has at least one opening configured to accommodate the first side in order to have communication with tire bead forming machine for visual inspection of the machine, to provide access to the tire bead forming machine.
EFFECT: increased performance of manufacture of articles.
