FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: skin biopsy is taken from the lesion, then immunohistochemical study is conducted using CD3, CD4 and Ki67 monoclonal antibodies by computer morphometry. Then these parameters are averaged and the total specific significance of immunopositivity of these monoclonal antibodies is calculated by the formula: F=1.75*X1+2.03*X2+12.81*X3+0.22, where: F is the total specific significance of immunopositivity of CD3, CD4 and Ki67 monoclonal antibodies; X1 is the average value of the volume fraction of the positive colour of CD3; X2 is the average value of the volume fraction of the positive colour of CD4; X3 is the average value of the volume fraction of positive colour of Ki67; 1.7; 2.03; 12.81 and 0.22 are correction factors. At F from 0.220 to 1.535, erythematous-spotted stage is diagnosed, at F from 1.536 to 2.888, infiltrative-plaque stage is diagnosed, and at F from 2.889 to 4.700, tumour stage of mycosis fungoides is diagnosed.

EFFECT: increased objectivity and accuracy of mycosis fungoides stage diagnosing.
