FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention is a method for prediction of acute kidney damage (AKD) in patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS), which consists in determination of the endogenous erythropoieti content in the serum, characterized by erythropoietin level correction for blood hemoglobin by the formula , where ERO is the serum erythropoietin level, IU/ml; Hb is hemoglobin level in capillary blood, g/l; EROcor - the level of erythropoietin, corrected for hemoglobin concentration, IU/g; and at a corrected erythropoietin level of more than 75.3 IU/g, a high risk of acute kidney damage development is predicted.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of acute kidney damage development prediction in patients with acute coronary syndrome, which opens the possibility for timely prevention and treatment of a larger number of patients.
