SUBSTANCE: filter for a smoking product comprises a hollow tube of a filter material, the hollow tube having an outer diameter and an inner diameter, and a flow limiter disposed in the hollow tube, wherein at least one cross-sectional dimension of the flow limiter in the direction perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the hollow tube is larger than the inner diameter of the hollow tube, whereby the flow limiter interacts with the hollow tube to hold the flow limiter in the hollow tube, wherein the flow limiter is made with the possibility of deflecting smoke flow between the limiter and the outside diameter of the hollow tube, with the filter forming a cavity of the end brought to the mouth.
EFFECT: preventing unwanted smoke staining of the filter end.
