SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compounds, compositions thereof, for treatment of infections and neoplasms with structures , where R1 is the residue of a compound selected from the group consisting of cytarabine, fludarabine, gemcitabine, clofarabine, cladribine, vidase, dacogen, pentostatin and cladribine or aristermycin, acyclovir, ganciclovir, penciclovir, adefovir, cidofovir, tenofovir, zidovudine and lamivudine; X and Y are independently O, S or NH; and R2 and R3 are independently selected from the group consisting of H, alkyl, phenyl, heteroaryl and the remainder of the vitamin B6 fragment selected from
wherein heteroaryl is an aromatic ring containing from 1 to 3 heteroatoms selected from oxygen, sulfur and nitrogen, and wherein at least one of R2 and R3 is the residue of a fragment of vitamin B6, L is alkyl.
