FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method for prediction of esophageal cancer progression differs by the fact that the percentage of CD3+CD8+, T regs (CD4+CD25+CD127dim) subpopulations lymphocytes is determined by flow cytometry in the homogenates of tumour tissue samples and visually unchanged tissue (the peritumoral zone and the resection line) taken in the operation for the primary esophageal cancer, the coefficients K1=PZ/TT, K2=PZ/RL and K3=RL/TT are calculated, where PZ is the peritumoral zone, TT is the tumour tissue, RL is the resection line, and for K1 values for T regs above 0.343, K2 for T regs above 2.37 and K3 for CD3+CD8+cells below 1.198, progression of esophageal cancer is predicted.
EFFECT: method allows to increase the accuracy and informative value of the esophageal cancer progression prediction.
