The proposed method of producing N-(phosphonomethyl)-glycine by catalytic oxidation of N-alkyl-derivatives of N-(phosphonomethyl)-glycine in the presence of noble metals deposited on the carbon carriers, characterized in that hydrogen peroxide is used as an oxidant, and the nanosized particles of gold are used as a catalyst, deposited on the carbon carriers.

EFFECT: new efficient method for producing a valuable product used in agriculture is proposed.
