SUBSTANCE: smoking product has an end brought to the mouth and a distal end. The smoking product contains a combustible carbon-containing heat source located at the distal end; a substrate forming an aerosol adjacent to the mentioned heat source; and a cover made in such a way that it at least partly covers the heat source and is fixed to the line of least resistance at the distal end. The cover comprises a cylindrical plug made of a material surrounded by a wrapper. The cover is removable to open the heat source before using the smoking product.
EFFECT: excluding damage of the heat source.
