FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: method of differentiating Yersinia pestis strains into basic and nonbasic subtypes by PCR method in the real-time mode is described. The method includes amplification of the tested DNA using engineered primers: ftKfor (5'-tcatcgttggtgtcagttgc-3'), ftsKrev (5'-tggcgatgatgacgttt-3') in the presence of allele-specific probes: ftsKProbaA (5'-Fam-aactggtacagaaAcaactgataca-RTQ1-3'), ftsKProbaG(5'-Hex-ggtacagaaGcaactgatacaaaa-BHQ2-3'), in the presence of fluorescent labels FAM and HEX and fluorescence quenchers RTQ1 and BHQ2.
EFFECT: arsenal of ways of differentiating strains of Yersinia pestis is expanded.
