FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: to measure IOP through the eyelid, a static deformation of the eyelid is performed followed by periodic resonant dynamic deformation of the eyeball through the eyelid by a rod connected to the body by elastic elements. At least in one period of resonant oscillations of the rod on the eyeball, in moments of rod movements with maximum speed, rod is forcibly pushed out in the direction of eye or is thrown up in the direction of eye, depending on the oscillations of the rod motion direction, while the frequency of resonant oscillations of the rod is proportional to IOP.
EFFECT: group of inventions allows to determine through the eyelid the intraocular pressure, regardless of the time of damping of free oscillations of the rod on the patient's eye.
