FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: smooth skin dermatoscopy is performed. Presence of the following signs is determined: erythema without vessels, microvesicles, mouths of hair follicles with loss of gun hair, rough scales. If at least 3 signs are detected and in the absence of a yellowish background, dotted vessels, thin scales, located on the periphery ("collarette"), smooth skin microsporia is diagnosed.
EFFECT: method allows accurate diagnosis of smooth skin microsporia in children by evaluating a complex of the most significant signs.
