FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for preparing aqueous electrolyte with a regulated pH value, containing: pH regulator intended for the preparation of aqueous electrolyte with a regulated pH value; the second node being in a fluid communication with the pH regulator designed to distribute aqueous electrolyte solution with the adjusted pH value. The pH regulator includes: an electrolysis cell including an anode and a cathode; the said cathode contains a pseudo-capacitive material. With the pH regulator operation, a pseudoelastic material receives electrons from the anode and adsorbs cations from the aqueous electrolyte solution during electrochemical reactions with these cations, OH- in the aqueous solution of the electrolyteis spent, losing electrons, the consumption of H+ in the aqueous solution of the electrolyte is reduced, leaving H+ in the aqueous solution of the electrolyte; or the said anode contains a pseudoelastic material, and with the pH regulator operation, the pseudoelastic material loses the electrons and adsorb the anions of the aqueous electrolyte solution in an electrochemical reaction with these anions, H+ in the aqueous solution of the electrolyte is spent at the cathode, receiving the electrons, the consumption of OH- in the aqueous solution of the electrolyte is reduced, leaving OH- in the aqueous solution of the electrolyte; the said pseudoelastic material contains oxide of the transition metal or conjugated conducting polymers; a controller designed to control the electrolysis process in the electrolysis cell.
EFFECT: use of the present invention makes it possible to purposefully regulate pH without producing wastewater.
