FIELD: biotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: transformation 17α,21-cortexolone diacetate is carried out with the washed from the nutrient medium daily mycelium of the Curvularia lunata VKM F-645 strain of the second generation in 0.05 M potassium phosphate buffer pH 6.0 with the addition of 1% v/v. oil solution of retinol acetate and 0.5% v/v. PEG 400. The mycelium of Curvularia lunata VKM F-645 strain is taken in an amount of 30-35 g/L, based on the weight of dry biomass. The steroid substrate is introduced into the transformation buffer as a hot solution of dimethylformamide (DMF) with a final solvent concentration of 1.5% v/v. followed by incubation and allocation by extraction or distillation of the solvent and crystallization.
