FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: system comprises an elongated loading frame having a distal end portion, a proximal end portion and opposite lateral sides; and a loading head configured to be connected to the distal end portion of the elongated loading frame. The loading head comprises a flat housing located within the plane of the loading head and having an upper edge portion, a lower edge portion, opposite side portions, a front side and a rear side; and additionally, comprises a pair of opposite wings having free end portions spaced from the loading head, forming open spaces which extend from the inner surfaces of the opposite wings through the plane of the loading head. In other embodiments, the extruding plate is located on the rear side of the loading head and is oriented to cooperate and seal the coal when the coal is loaded throughout the length of the coke furnace. In other embodiments, the loading plates extend outwardly from the interior surfaces of the opposite wings.
EFFECT: increasing productivity of the coke furnace.
