METHOD FOR OPERATION OF SYSTEM OF CONTROLLED INTERMITTENT PNEUMATIC COMPRESSION OF UPPER AND LOWER LIMBS WITH EVALUATION OF VESSELS BIOMECHANICS Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC A61H9/00 A61B5/205

Abstract RU 2644927 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: method for intermittent pneumatic compression of upper and lower limbs includes multi-sectional cuffs is laying on a limb with formation of excess air pressure therein through a pneumatic distribution control system and measurement of the patient's circulatory system parameters. As cuff actuator, hoses are used, which form the sections. The number of sections for a cuff is at least 22 for the upper limbs, and at least 32 for the lower limbs. The excess pressure in the cuffs is generated according to the algorithm incorporated in the programmable logistic controller of the pneumatic distribution system, by switching the supply voltage of the corresponding electromagnetic coil of the distributor. After reaching the necessary excess pressure in the cuff, voltage is applied to the electromagnetic coil of the next distributor. Further, a cardiovascular unit is used for complex monitoring of the state of vascular biomechanics, which includes volumetric sphygmography, ankle-brachial index measurement and electrocardiogram. According to the received parameters of vessels biomechanics, the necessary excess pressure in the cuffs is corrected and pneumatic system operation is synchronized with the heart rhythm.

EFFECT: increased efficiency and reduced rehabilitation period of patients with cardiovascular system diseases.
