FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: active laser element on metal vapour contains a vacuum-tight shell with two exit windows, inside of which there is a ceramic channel with the rings of working metal, fixed to the shell through the electrode assemblies. Between the shell and the ceramic channel, a heat insulator is located. Inside the vacuum-tight shell, in front of each window, detachable shields with fastening elements to the shell are additionally installed, configured to remove contactless from the channel projection after the soldering operation.
EFFECT: ensuring the possibility to exclude dusting of the output windows of the active element in the process of outgassing, which ensures the preservation of their transparency to laser radiation.
