FIELD: mining.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the mining machine stabilization tool relative to the first mine working surface and the second mine working surface, opposite the first mine working surface, as well as to the mining machine. Method comprises extending first actuator to first mine working surface to achieve a predetermined value by at least one force indicator, acting between actuator and first mine working surface. First actuator retraction for first preset time. First actuator extension during first preset time plus additional time. Extending the second actuator to the second mine working surface to achieve a predetermined value by at least one force indicator, acting between second actuator and second surface of mine working. Suction of second actuator during second preset time and extension of second actuator for second preset time plus additional time. Mining machine comprises first actuator to stabilize frame relative to mine working surface, wherein the first actuator is connected to the frame and includes a first end extending in the first direction to interact with the mine working surface. Controller connected to first actuator and configured to control first actuator, wherein controller comprises timer, determining time required for extension of first end into position, in which at least one indicator of the force acting between the first actuator and the mine working surface reaches a predetermined value. Controller is configured to control the extension of the first end based on the specified time.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of mining machine stabilization.
