FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method for controlling the vehicle compressor is characterized by that the compressor is driven by a vehicle engine. The method includes procedure for changing the compressor cut-off threshold in accordance with inverse dependence from compressor rotation rate. The compressor cut-off threshold is a value of compressor stop pressure threshold. The device for controlling the vehicle compressor comprises means for performing all stages of said method. The ground vehicle comprises an engine, a compressor for loading compressed air reservoirs, and said device for controlling the compressor.
EFFECT: reduction of negative effects from compressor overheating.
