FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods and devices for application of a wear-resistant coating. Introduction of powder material particles into the spray nozzle. Powder coating material particles are accelerated in a spray nozzle with gas towards the sample surface. Powder material particles adherence to each other and to the substrate is created by introducing electromagnetic radiation into the point where the gas jet with powder material particles hits the sample surface. To generate electromagnetic radiation, a laser is used, which power is set sufficient to melt the powder material and to mix it with the material of the sample surface. During the coating application process, the focus of the laser radiation spot on the surface of the sample is shifted relative to the focus of the powder particles to be fed to ensure the introduction of the powder material feed particles into the molten powder material of the sample surface. In one embodiment of the method, before the coating is applied, the focus of the laser radiation spot on the surface of the sample is set in a bias relative to the focus of the powder material to be fed in order to ensure the incorporation of the powder material feed particles into the molten powder material of the sample surface. During the coating process, the sample surface is additionally heated to a temperature sufficient to remove residual stresses. Wear-resistant coating application to a sample device comprises a working chamber, a spray nozzle and a laser unit. Laser unit and the spray nozzle are arranged with possibility of reciprocal movement of the laser unit laser optics focusing lenses axis of symmetry and the spray nozzle axis of symmetry. Laser unit is selected with a laser radiation power sufficient to melt the powder material and mix it with the sample surface. Wear-resistant coating application device may comprise an electromagnetic induction block for heating the sample. Electromagnetic induction block winding is made with possibility to fit a sample into it.

EFFECT: providing a wear-resistant coating with high adhesion.
