FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hybrid laser sampling of specimen surface. Method involves feeding a directed flow of a gas powder mixture onto the surface of a treated sample with simultaneous formation of a solid-liquid region on its surface using a laser beam and moving the sample relative to the laser beam and the gas-powder mixture. Refractory particles included in composition of gas-powder mixture are introduced into surface of sample due to their pressing into surface of specimen with hard-alloy roller simultaneously with formation of solid-liquid region.
EFFECT: technical result consists in production of heat-resistant protective layer, saturated with refractory particles, for example ceramic, in near-surface layers of article.
