FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to drying devices and can be used in food, chemical, petrochemical, medical, pharmaceutical and other industries. Spray dryer for liquid products contains a housing with a gas distribution grid, liquid product sprayer and an agitator located above the grate. In the housing, a rotor with a drive and blades is horizontally mounted, which has the possibility of radial adjustment over the agitator in a layer of inert bodies. Rotor is made in the form of an axis with a bushing with blades rotating on it, driven by a rack-and-pinion pair consisting of a geared circular ring, fixed on the blades of the agitator, and a pinion gear made on the rotor. Rotor shaft is rigidly fixed to the housing under the nozzle. Agitator mounting to the housing, made in the form of a conical bushing, is carried out by means of fasteners. Nozzle comprises housing, union and a coaxially positioned swirling insert with an external helical thread and an expanding conical opening inside. In the union a cylindrical inlet opening is made, connected to the diffuser, which is made axially symmetric in the housing. In the lower part of the housing a nozzle is located axially symmetric, which is made with a two-stage diffuser coaxial to the swirling insert. Diffuser first stage is the extension of diverging taper opening made inside swirling insert, which is made of a wear-resistant material. Diffuser second step makes the extension of its first step. Helical thread is made on its inner conical surface, wherein the conical surface with a helical thread of the diffuser second stage is made perforated, in the lower part of the nozzle housing, coaxially with it, a cylindrical shell is fixed on which a flow divider is installed, which is made in the form of at least two rods connected to each other in the lower part, obliquely to the axis of the nozzle, to which a vertically disposed rod is mounted, on which a swirler is mounted made in the form of a cone with helical blades, enclosing a rod with a clearance and resting in the lower part on a stopper located horizontally and perpendicularly to the rod.
EFFECT: intensification of heat and mass exchange when using seed crystals as inert bodies and increasing the liquid product spraying rate.
