SUBSTANCE: invention relates to drying plants and can be used in food, chemical petrochemical, medical, pharmaceutical and other industries. Spray dryer for liquid products contains a housing with a gas distribution grid, a spray nozzle for the liquid product and a tedder located above the grid. Nozzle comprises a housing with a swirling chamber and a nozzle, the housing is in the form of a supply fitting with a central hole and rigidly connected thereto and a coaxial cylindrical sleeve with an internal thread and an expansion chamber coaxial to the housing. Coaxial to the body nozzle is connected to the sleeve in its lower part by means of a thread, made in the form of an inverted glass, in the bottom of which a turbulent swirler of liquid flow with at least two inclinations to the axis of the nozzle in the form of cylindrical holes located in the end surface of the nozzle, where also a central cylindrical throttle opening is made connected to the nozzle mixing chamber, in series connected to the diffuser outlet chamber. In the lower part of the mixing chamber of the nozzle, a hollow conical swirler is fixed, the conical shell of which is fixed by means of, at least, three spokes fixed at one end to the conical shell of the swirler, in its upper part, and the other end in the annular groove made on the inner surface of the mixing chamber. On the external surface of the hollow cone swirler a screw thread is cut.

EFFECT: intensification of heat and mass exchange when using seed crystals as inert bodies and increasing the liquid product spraying rate.
