SUBSTANCE: invention relates to drying plants and can be used in food, chemical petrochemical, medical, pharmaceutical and other industries. Spray dryer for liquid products contains a housing with a gas distribution grid, nozzle and a tedder located above the grid. Nozzle comprises case, union and swirler aligned with both. Fitting is configured with an expanding channel for liquid supply to the cylindrical hole, which is axially symmetric to the body and smoothly passes into a shaped aperture coaxial with it made in the form of a diffuser. Cylindrical hole of the body accommodates cylindrical swirl insert, arranged axially symmetric with the body and having outer peripheral screw-like threaded channels. At the top of the nozzle, a perforated disk is mounted in which a hollow helical conical swirler is mounted in an expanding channel for supplying liquid to the cylindrical hole made axially symmetrically to the nozzle body. On the surface of the hollow helical conical swirler a screw thread is cut.

EFFECT: intensification of heat and mass exchange when using seed crystals as inert bodies and increasing the liquid product spraying rate.
