SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, in particular to cardiology. Treating a patient with a reduced left ventricular ejection fraction (reduced LVEF) in the stable phase of the disease on the background of optimal drug therapy, the following indicators are determined: the frequency of respiratory movements, the level of systolic blood pressure measured at a 3rd–5th minute of orthostasis, the lymphocyte concentration, the width of the distribution of red blood cells by volume in serum and the age of the patient when the onset of reduced LVEF occurred. Z is calculated by the original formula. At Z>-1.7, survival is predicted to be less than 1 year, at Z≤-1,7 – more than 1 year. Method can be used treating patients with reduced LVEF of non-valvular etiology at the age of 18 to 70.

EFFECT: method allows to predict with high accuracy the survival of patients with reduced LVEF at the outpatient treatment stage.
