FIELD: atomic power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to nuclear power engineering. Submersible device for electrochemical deactivation of pipe fragments contains clamp of deactivated pipe fragment, anode and a cathode made in form of co-axially disposed and interconnected outer and inner cylinders. Device is provided with base as anode rigidly connected to it by central pillar fixed on central pillar top and electrically insulated appliance cover, having cathode current guide and apertures, in each of which cathode cylinders are arranged to move, while the clamps of pipes deactivated fragments are fixed on base coaxially with holes in device cover. Number of clamps of pipe deactivated fragment is equal to number of holes in device cover.
EFFECT: invention makes possible to deactivate fragments of shells and pipelines of nuclear power plants of various diameters and of any section in one cycle from inner and outer sides.
