FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a methanol production installation and to the way it works. Installation includes a synthesis gas production unit with a device for its drying and fuel, water, hydrocarbon feed lines, a methanol production unit with a catalytic reactor equipped with a refrigerant inlet line and a methanol recovery device, equipped with outgoing gas supply lines to the synthesis gas production unit as fuel and crude methanol outlet. In this case, the devices for drying the synthesis gas and for separating methanol are equipped with feed lines for the raw mixture as a refrigerant and with the lines for the extraction of the partially heated raw meal, which are connected to the refrigerant supply line to a reactor, equipped with a feed line for the heated raw meal to the synthesis gas production unit, in addition, the unit is equipped with a water treatment unit, equipped with a water condensate feed line from the synthesis gas dehydration unit and a service water supply line, connected by a supply line of prepared water to the feed line.
EFFECT: present invention makes it possible to reduce energy consumption in the production of methanol.
