FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, in particular to pulmonology and pediatrics, and concerns differential diagnosis of the disease in children under 5 with repeated relapses of bronchial obstruction. Child is examined not earlier than one month after the relief of clinical manifestations of bronchial obstruction. At the same time, the level of CO of exhaled air in ppm is examined, as well as the acoustic component of the work of respiration (ACWD) in μJ using the method of computer bronchophonography 40 minutes before and after the inhalation of a bronchodilator in the age-related dose. If CO values of 3.0 ppm or more, and ACWD before inhalation of bronchodilator is 0.2 μJ and more, the bronchial obstruction is reversible, i.e. with a decrease in ACWD in comparison with baseline after inhalation of the bronchodilator, a diagnosis of bronchial asthma is established. If values of the CO level less than 3.0 ppm, and ACWD before inhalation of the bronchodilator is 0.2 μJ or more, possibility of reversibility of bronchial obstruction is determined, the diagnosis is the secondary hyperreactivity of the bronchial tree after an obstructive bronchitis. If values of the CO level of less than 3.0 ppm, and ACWD is less than 0.2 μJ set, the diagnosis is the recovery after obstructive bronchitis.
EFFECT: method allows to improve the quality of diagnostics of bronchial asthma in children under 5 years old.
