FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical models and can find wide application, mainly in surgical dentistry, both for training medical personnel, and for testing surgical equipment, for example, robotic multifunctional laser surgical complex for minimally invasive therapy of oncological pathology of organs and tissues of the head, neck and maxillofacial area. Proposed artificial gum for simulating the effect on the biological tissue of laser radiation consists of a solidified 5–25 % aqueous solution of gelatin with the addition of aminoacetic acid or proline, taken in an amount of 8–10 % by weight of the total solution.
EFFECT: expansion of technological possibilities for making artificial gums of available material for use of dental phantom in minimally invasive laser surgical equipment.
