SUBSTANCE: method of eliminating seams when creating panoramic images from the video stream of frames in real time is proposed. The method includes identifying multiple characteristic elements, comparing the image of the current frame with the resulting image, determining the coordinates of the displacement vector for the current frame, shifting the current frame to the calculated coordinates of the displacement vector, calculating an overlapping area boundary, adding the displaced image of the current frame to the resulting image, eliminating a seam between the adjacent frames. Next, the angle of the camera rotation is determined, the illumination of the frame images is aligned, the blurred areas of the image within the frame are removed, then characteristic rectangular areas are built around the identified characteristic elements, then characteristic rectangular areas of images are compared on the video card processor.

EFFECT: increasing the speed of creating panoramic images.
