METHOD FOR PREDICTION OF CLINICAL COURSE OF CNS ORGANIC LESIONS IN CHILDREN WITH HERPES VIRAL INFECTIONS Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC G01N33/577

Abstract RU 2729988 C1

FIELD: biotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to biotechnology, namely to clinical-laboratory prediction of neuropathological conditions. By clinical, virological and genetic examination authors suggest additionally to determine in whole blood and CNS of child DNA of human herpes virus type 6, genotypes A, B, their quantitative characteristics with determination of concentration of 104 and more DNA copies/ml, and if human genotype 6 virus of genotype A is detected, an unfavourable pro-mediated course is predicted, and if observing human herpes virus type 6 genotype B, a favourable outcome of the disease is predicted.

EFFECT: invention can be used for prediction of clinical course of organic CNS affection associated with combined herpes virus infections in children.
