FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a novel liquid reagent for preparing organo-inorganic perovskites, which can be used for light-absorbing materials in solar energy technology. Liquid initial reagent for preparing an organo-inorganic perovskite corresponds to composition AB-nB2, where n=1–5, A is a cation selected from CH3NH3+, (NH2)2CH+, C(NH2)3+, or a mixture of cations CH3NH3+, (NH2)2CH+, C(NH2)3+, possibly in a mixture with Cs+ ions, B is an anion selected from Cl-, Br-, I-, or a mixture thereof, B2 is selected from Cl2, Br2 and I2 or a mixture thereof. Invention also relates to a method for the preparation of the said liquid initial reagent. Method means mixing compound AB, or a mixture of AB compounds, optionally with cesium halide, where A is a cation selected from CH3NH3+, (NH2)2CH+, C(NH2)3+, B is an anion selected from Cl-, Br-, I-, with component B2, where B2 is selected from Cl2, Br2 and I2 or a mixture thereof, at the molar ratio of AB to B2 from 1:1 to 1:5, within the temperature range from 10 to 120 °C.
EFFECT: use of the liquid composition of polyhalides leads to a simplification and acceleration of the technological process for the preparation of an organo-inorganic perovskite and perovskite-like compounds containing Pb, Sn, Bi, since it allows to carry out the process without the use of solvents.
