SUBSTANCE: system comprises the first container (2), which accommodates liquid (9), and the second container (4), which accommodates the shaving unit (1) in the liquid (9). Pump (3) pumps the liquid (9) from the first container (2) into the second container (4). Drain pipe (5) ensures that the liquid (9) passes from the second container (4) back to the first container (2). Pump drive device (6) supplies electricity to the pump (3) during the periods (Ta) of the cleaning cycle (Tt) operation. Sensor (7) measures electricity. Controller (8) determines the violation of the fluid flow (9) by means of determining that the measured information (Ab) deviates more than the threshold value (At) from the nominal information (An). Nominal measured information (An) occurs when there is no disturbance of the flow of liquid (9) through the pump (3) during the periods (Ta) of operation. Threshold value (At) is in the range of 0.05-0.25 per nominal current value (I) or the nominal value of the voltage (V), which is applied to the pump (3), when there is no violation of the nominal flow of liquid (9) through the pump (3) during the operation periods (Ta). System further comprises the indicator (100), which is configured in order to output the signal indicating the insufficient level of the cleaning liquid in the first container. Controller (8) is configured in order to actuate the indicator (100) to output the warning signal to the user in accordance with the particular violation. There is also provided the cleaning device, which comprises the pumping system, the electric shaver cleaning system, which comprises the device, and the method for cleaning the shaving unit.

EFFECT: simplicity and convenience of use are ensured.
