SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means for temporary sealing of holes in rigid hollow products filled with liquid and can be used for temporary sealing of holes in pipelines, tanks, ship hulls, etc. A device for temporary sealing of leaks in liquid-filled rigid hollow products, including an elastic conical plug, a device for installing the plug into the leak in the form of a hollow pipe, in which a striker is placed coaxially with the plug for longitudinal movement, and a handle. The handle is fixed on one side of the hollow pipe, and the axially rigid hammer is pressed separately from the plug by a spring in the hollow pipe towards the plug and can be supported by it. The plug has a larger diameter than the inner diameter of the hollow pipe for insertion into it by compression along the perimeter, which makes it possible to keep the plug inside the hollow pipe due to friction forces. The handle can be made removable and prefabricated, consisting of at least two tubes, telescopically inserted into each other providing an ability to increase the length of the handle.

EFFECT: reduced metal consumption due to the use of one handle and fixation of a conical plug inside a small-diameter hollow pipe only due to friction, separation of a hard striker and an elastic conical plug by preliminary pressing the striker to it to prevent recoil from the striker of the impact tool, which can significantly increase the safety of operating the device.
