EXPERIMENTAL INSTALLATION FOR STUDY OF ROTARY-SUPPORT UNITS Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC G01M13/04

Abstract RU 2749412 C1

FIELD: mechanical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of mechanical engineering and laboratory equipment, it can be used to study and simulate the behavior of the rotor-support units of the power unit. The device consists of an electric engine, a converter and support bearing units fixed on the base and representing hydrodynamic sliding bearings and/or rolling bearings, in which a shaft with a load disk is installed. In addition, it contains a shaft line consisting of three separate shafts, each of which is placed between the corresponding pair of support units. The electric engine is mounted on a base placed on the frame, connected to a frequency converter and connected to the first shaft equipped with load disks and placed on the same base as the electric engine, the second shaft equipped with load disks, and the third shaft installed on another base. Along the length of the shafts, on both bases, there are racks with displacement and speed rotation sensors, and temperature and vibration sensors are placed on the support bearing units. Moreover, the frequency converter and all sensors are connected to the control, collection and modeling and signal-processing unit, connected to the information storage and display unit.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to expand the field of research of rotary systems by modeling various processes, such as the displacement and subsidence of the foundation by changing the alignment and misalignment of the shafts, as well as modeling various situations associated with the wear of sliding bearing units and the lack of lubricant.
