FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to food industry. Proposed method for producing a granulated sugar-containing product comprises concentrating the sugar solution and applying it to the seed beads, building and drying the product granules. As a seed granules of maltodextrin are used in a mixture with laminaria in equal amounts with the particle size of these products within the range of 0.3–0.5 mm. During the process of building a sugar-containing solution with the concentration of 80–83 % of the dry matter is applied onto the seed beads with the addition of cane-sugar molasses at the rate of 0.5–1.2 % to the weight of the sugar-containing solution. Granules are built up to 2.0–4.0 mm and then dried to the moisture content of 4.0–6.0 % by passing hot air through the layer of granules with the temperature of 107–115 °C.
EFFECT: invention provides a good granulometric composition of the finished product and a clearly expressed homogeneous structure.
