FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the food industry. A method for the production of a granulated sugar-containing product is proposed, including the concentration of the sugar-containing solution and its application to the seed granules, the growth and drying of the product granules. As a seed, granules are used, consisting in equal amounts of sucrose and maltodextrin, obtained by agglomerating their powder form to a size of 0.8-1.5 mm. In the process of growing, a sugar-containing solution is applied to the seed granules, which includes green tea extract and coriander honey in equal amounts at the rate of 0.15-0.20% by weight of a solution having a concentration of 82-83% dry matter, and the granules are grown to size 2.5-3.0 mm, after which maltitol syrup is sprayed onto the surface of the granules at the rate of 0.1-0.2% by weight and dried to a moisture content of 0.3-0.4%.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to obtain a sugar-containing product with a reduced sucrose content, as well as enriched with a number of biologically active components due to the introduction of maltodextrin, coriander honey and green tea extract.
