SUBSTANCE: invention relates to plant growing, forestry, aesthetic forestry and agriculture, in particular to nursery farming. Method for stimulating the growth of microclones involves culturing of the microclones of the "variegata" weigela on a nutrient medium 1/2 WPM (Woody Plant Medium) containing half the macrosalts and sucrose. Nutrient media do not contain antibiotics. To achieve a growth-stimulating effect, the nutrient media are supplemented with a NaCl salt, at a concentration of 26 ± 1 mM and 87 ± 1 mM. For 14 days, the plants in selective media have a greater increase than under controlled conditions: at NaCl concentration of 26 mM – 2 times, at a concentration of 87 mM – 3 times.

EFFECT: proposed method of stimulating the growth of microclones allows obtaining fast-growing clones of decorative frost-resistant shrubs, suitable for adaptation to open ground and for sale.
