SUBSTANCE: invention represents a method for clonal micropropagation of coast redwoods (Sequia sempervirens), is achieved by using cuttings of redwoods, which after preliminary treatment with 0.2% solution of IBA and surface sterilization are cultivated on Murashige and Skoog nutrient medium, which includes additionally at the stage of sprout growth 2 mg/l 2,4-D, 2 mg/l BAP and 1 g/l PVP, and at the stage of reproduction and rooting of micro-sprouts 2 mg/l 2,4-D, 0.5 mg/l BAP, 0.5 mg/l NAA and 1 g/l PVP.
EFFECT: invention enables to accelerate production of high-quality, genetically homogeneous planting material.
