FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to surgery. Method is carried out by means of isolating from the focus of purulent inflammation of patients with diabetic foot syndrome of 10 pure cultures of microorganisms of the same species, their sensitivity to antimicrobial drugs is determined by means of the disc diffusion test, while the antibiotic or the combination of antibiotics is selected, to which all cultures (clonal lines) of microorganisms are sensitive.
EFFECT: invention can be used in order to select the antimicrobial drug (antibiotic) or the combination of antibiotics that are most effective in treating purulent complications of the diabetic foot syndrome of microbial etiology.
