FIELD: image forming devices.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of photogrammetry. Method for reconstructing the shape of a three-dimensional object from its two-dimensional images consists in recording under two different angles of two-dimensional images of the object and, using these registered images, restores the three-dimensional shape of the object. Controlled area of space is divided into small volumes – elements of resolution (ER), number them and fix their spatial coordinates. On each registered image, the area occupied by the image of the object is directly selected – the area of the image of the object, the positions of all ERs in the planes of the registered images are calculated in a calculated way. For each registered image, the numbers of those ERs whose images are located in the image area of the object are selected, those ER numbers selected that were simultaneously allocated for all registered images are selected. Restore the shape of the three-dimensional object as a set of ER with selected numbers.

EFFECT: technical result consists in expanding the class of analyzed objects to objects with a homogeneous structure.
