FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine. Polymeric endoprosthesis for replacement of defects and elimination of deformations of the eyelids is made in the form of a plate with perforations. Elastic monolithic single-layer perforated plate with through round, or oval, or polygonal apertures is made of a hydrophobic biocompatible spatially cross-linked polymer based on oligomers of methacrylic series by the method of frontal photopolymerization, with thickness from 200 to 400 microns, width from 8 to 10 mm, length from 17 to 45 mm. Size of the holes is from 0.2 to 0.4 mm, and their number is from 350 to 700. Endoprosthesis has one or two triangular notches oriented along the longitudinal axis of the plate and directed by the vertices toward the center. Around hole with a diameter of 2 to 4 mm is made around the top of the cutout.
EFFECT: invention provides anatomical and functional consistency of the century with a close fit to the eyeball, which allows you to restore the protective function of the eyelid and get the optimal aesthetic result.
