FIELD: packaging industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of packaging. Shell for packing of eggs in a padflat is made of a rectangular cardboard blank and comprises a central part from which side parts are bent to form two opposite side walls having valves bent towards each other with a total length equal to the length of the central part, wherein one valve has a tongue, and another valve has a slot for insertion of said tongue when the valves are installed butt-off relative to each other over the central part. Valve with tongue is made with bendable from it towards central part and located on sides of tab additional valves, edges of which are made in form of toothed projections, intended for their location on separating stops of padflat, and cutout valve is made with additional valve bending from it towards central part, which edge is made in the form of toothed projections intended for their location on separating thrusts of padflat at its resting on bent additional valves and formation of transverse rib stiffness on separating thrusts of padflat, and slot on valve is located on line of bend of additional valve.
EFFECT: shell for packaging of eggs in a lumpy pad and packaging for eggs with such a shell are proposed.
