FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: inventions relate to the method of treating the eye disease, the pharmaceutical kit for such treatment, and the use of the short interfering nucleic acid molecule (kiNA). Present method includes local administration, once a day, to the surface of the eye of the patient of the kiNA molecule, which comprises the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID NO:3 at the dose of about 0.3 mg to about 0.6 mg. Characterized kit contains: the dispenser for delivering the droplet between about 30 mcl and 40 mcl; the dosing fluid, which comprises a kiRNA with the sequence of SEQ ID NO:2 and the written instructions.
EFFECT: invention can be used in order to treat the eye disease, which is characterized by the raised intraocular pressure (RIP), in particular glaucoma or ocular hypertension.
