FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to hepatology, surgery, and can be used for radiofrequency thermoablation of tumor neoplasm of the liver. Ultrasonic imaging of the neoplasm with two ultrasound sensors is performed. Obtain an image of the neoplasm on the screen of one ultrasound device in the frontal plane, and the other apparatus in the sagittal plane. Introduce the electrode into the tumor so that the image of its working part is located in the center of the images of the tumor, both in the frontal plane and in the sagittal plane. Conduct a thermal ablation.
EFFECT: method provides increase in the effectiveness of treatment, preventing continued tumor growth due to the fact that the electrode is inserted into the central part of the tumor formation and the effect is carried out on the entire tumor tissue.
