FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to diagnose a cold form of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Spirographic indicators of FEV1, FVC, SOS75-85 are determined. Lungs auscultation is performed. Further, patients take a 30-minute walk outdoors at (-20°C)-(-50°C) as per Arnoldi. After that the spirographic parameters are repeatedly determined, lungs auscultation is performed. Also, an expiratory high resolution computed tomography (HRCT) is performed. A cold form of COPD is determined with a decrease in FEV1 by 34.8%, FVC by 21%, SOS75-85 by 23.9% of the initial values, appearance of crepitations in the lungs auscultation and "air traps" detection during HRCT.
EFFECT: method allows to easily and accurately diagnose the cold form of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease by evaluating the complex of the most significant indicators.
