SUBSTANCE: data collection on the sensor shaft and the conjugated shaft forming the contact zone includes the generation of an appropriate sensor signal by each of the sensors, located in places spaced along the axis of the sensor shaft, with each corresponding sensor signal being generated, when each sensor enters the contact zone area between the sensor shaft and the conjugated shaft during each rotation of the sensor shaft, and receiving the generated signal. After receiving the signal, the processor: a) determines which specific sensor generates this signal, b) determines, on the basis of the angular position of the conjugated shaft relative to the reference position, which of a number of tracking segments associated with the conjugated shaft is encountered, in fact, simultaneously with the sensor entering the contact zone area, and c) stores the corresponding sensor signal to associate this signal with one specific tracking segment.
EFFECT: device, allowing data collection on the sensor shaft and the conjugated shaft, is proposed.
