FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates generally to roller presses used to apply compression forces to moving webs for molding, e.g. paper, textile material, plastic foil, etc. To collect data on sensor and conjugated shafts, which form zone of contact, first and second plurality of sensors are used. Each sensor of the first set has a corresponding sensor in the second set, which is connected to the same axial location on the sensor shaft, but is spaced from it in circumferential direction. Sensors are located in the axially distributed locations of the sensor shaft and generate a first or second corresponding signal upon entering the contact zone. After receiving the generated signal, it is determined which sensor generated the received signal, and the association of said sensor to one of the pluralities. Based on the conjugate shaft angular position determining is determined which tracking segment associated with the coupled shaft enters the contact area simultaneously with the signal, in order to save signal using certain one tracking segment and certain accessory.
EFFECT: technical result consists in elimination of influence of rotational variability of conjugate shaft on pressure profile in contact zone.
